Description
The sound of PULSE LEGION's Evolve album is surprisingly diverse. It ranges from powerful, assertive compositions with distinctive guitar riffs to cold, almost mechanical tracks with a cybernetic flavor. At times, the music unexpectedly breaks into overtly danceable rhythms—and this, too, fits seamlessly into the overall experience.
John Ricker's vocals deserve special attention. His delivery transforms each song into a ball of pure energy. Listening to him, you physically sense despair, furious resistance, and almost palpable pain. His voice is like a guide into the album's emotional world.
Evolve remains a highly accomplished work to this day. This album will definitely find its audience among connoisseurs of classic EBM sound!
About artist

In 1996, musicians John Ricker and Samuel P. formed the EBM/electro-industrial band PULSE LEGION in Hawaii.
After moving to Los Angeles, they were joined by third member Jason DM. Together, they created synth-driven dance music at its finest, and in 1997, their debut album, Evolve, was released by the renowned American label COP International.
PULSE LEGION is proof that strong electronic dance music doesn't necessarily have to originate outside of North America. The band demonstrates impressive sonic development, combining electronic textures with powerful synths. Each song is a carefully crafted musical canvas, where classic elements of electronic music are intertwined with modern arrangements.
